Martyr Phan Van Hoi was buried in his hometown cemetery 52 years after his death.

On August 7, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ban Nguyen commune, together with his family and clan, held a ceremony to receive, pay their respects and bury the remains of martyr Phan Van Hoi at his hometown cemetery after 52 years of heroic sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs (HTGĐLS) of the province.

Martyr Phan Van Hoi was buried in his hometown cemetery 52 years after his death.

The ceremony to receive, pay respects and bury the remains of martyr Phan Van Hoi was held solemnly and thoughtfully.

Martyr Phan Van Hoi was born in 1946 in a farming family in Zone 1, Ban Nguyen Commune. At the age of 20, after starting a family, he left to work at the Phu Tho Town Post Office , Vinh Phu Province (old). With the enthusiasm of youth and the desire to contribute to the cause of national liberation, he volunteered to join the army and was assigned to Regiment 95, Division 2, Military Region 5 Command, directly fighting at the Gia Lai Front, Central Highlands. After many fierce and difficult battles, he heroically sacrificed himself on January 9, 1973. After his sacrifice, martyr Phan Van Hoi was gathered at the Gia Lai Province Martyrs' Cemetery.

In order to meet the wishes of the family of martyr Phan Van Hoi to bring the remains of the martyr back to his hometown, since 2015, the Provincial Association of Martyrs and Families has actively coordinated with departments, branches, organizations, and local authorities to actively provide information, advice, and guide the family to complete the procedures to support the transfer of the remains of the martyr from the Martyrs' Cemetery of Gia Lai Province, Central Highlands to his hometown. Until now, the family has had the conditions to transfer the remains of the martyr back to his hometown for burial.

The ceremony to receive, pay respects and bury the remains of martyr Phan Van Hoi was organized thoughtfully, solemnly, and in accordance with regulations, witnessed by a large number of local people.
