In Nam Giang district, Lifestart Foundation has awarded 25 bicycles to poor students from 3 schools: Thanh My Secondary School, Nam Giang Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Ca Dy - Ta Bhing Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. All students receiving bicycles in Nam Giang district are ethnic minorities with difficult family circumstances.

The remaining bicycles were given to students of Tran Phu Secondary School and Le Van Tam Secondary School (Dien Ban town).

The bicycle donation program is one of the annual activities that Lifestart Foundation regularly focuses on in Quang Nam, aiming to create favorable conditions for students in especially difficult circumstances to go to school, including orphans, children living in single-parent families, families with sick people, low-income families or parents working far away.

Ms. Karen Leonard - founder of Lifestart Foundation said that before receiving the donated bicycles, many children had to walk a long distance to get to school or had to ask their friends to take them. Therefore, the timely support from Lifestart Foundation has solved one of the urgent needs of poor students in Nam Giang district and Dien Ban town, contributing to creating a better learning environment, promoting the effectiveness of teaching and learning at schools in the province.

“Together with the Lifestart Foundationeducation scholarship program, we are delighted to be able to extend our support to the community through the bicycle donation,” said Karen Leonard.
