At some automatic rain gauge stations in the southern coastal area, the average rainfall is 150 - 200mm, higher in some places such as: Ky Lam 220mm, Song Rac lake 218mm.

It is forecasted that from the morning of August 25 to August 26, Ha Tinh province will have heavy to very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms.

Rainfall is generally from 200 - 400mm, locally over 500mm (heavy rain concentrated from the morning of August 25 to the evening of August 25). Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>200mm/3 hours).

From the night of August 26, heavy rain in Ha Tinh province gradually decreased.

In some coastal areas, sea levels rose and trees fell before the storm made landfall.

Accordingly, the whole province has completed the evacuation of people in 17 coastal communes and wards to safe shelters; ensuring necessities and facilities at evacuation points. Currently, we are continuing to mobilize maximum human resources, material resources and means to reinforce the Hoi Thong dike in Dan Hai commune...

Ha Tinh will continue to tighten the management of ships and boats; thoroughly instruct, guide, secure, and anchor ships and boats at ports to ensure safety. Continue to mobilize forces to help people evacuate, secure houses, harvest agricultural products that are ready for harvest, and minimize damage to property and crops.

Regularly check locations and areas at risk of landslides, flooding, and subsidence to have timely evacuation and handling plans, avoiding being passive or surprised.
