Painter Than Trong Dung - Chairman of the Da Nang Fine Arts Association, when speaking at the opening of the April Sunshine exhibition (afternoon of April 16), said that this is an event to honor the creativity and artistic achievements of Da Nang painters and sculptors.
The exhibition displays 43 works by 37 painters and sculptors who are members and collaborators of the Da Nang Fine Arts Association. This is an opportunity for art lovers to discover new works that are diverse and rich in content, materials and creative techniques.
There are four sculptures, each telling a story with different emotions, connecting and provoking conversations with the public in a way that words can hardly describe.
Arriving at the exhibition very early, Chris Mcbride (from Scotland) and Jonathan Jayasuria (Malaysia) were interested in the sculptures of painter and sculptor Dinh Gia Thang (recipient of the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022). Both of them stopped for a long time to admire these works.
When the author further explained the meaning of the statues, both tourists - who work in the art field - highly appreciated the content and form of the works.
