On the morning of May 31, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School ( Hanoi National University of Education) organized an aptitude test for grade 6 students for the 2025-2026 school year.
This year, the school recruited 320 students for grade 6, but there were 5,709 candidates registered for the exam, equivalent to a ratio of 1 to 17.84 (nearly 18 students).
To participate in this exam, candidates must take 3 tests: Vietnamese (45 minutes), English (30 minutes) and Math (45 minutes). The test questions closely follow the 5th grade program according to the 2018 generaleducation program. The test format combines objective and essay questions, aiming to assess students' comprehensive abilities from basic knowledge to thinking and reasoning ability.
According to the school's admission information, in addition to the results of the three exams, candidates can receive bonus points if they achieve outstanding results in the 2024-2025 school year such as: obtaining a valid TOEFL Primary certificate with a high score, or winning prizes in city-level competitions (Young Informatics, English Olympic, etc.). The maximum bonus point is 3.0 points/candidate.
