Subaru car series with shocking price reduction, highest up to nearly half a billion VND

In early June 2025, Motor Image Vietnam (MIV) - the official distributor of Subaru cars in Vietnam, announced a promotion program for a series of products. In particular, the main sales car line Forester received a direct cash discount of 170 - 230 million VND. Thanks to that, the actual price of Subaru Forester cars returned to 799 million VND.

The flagship model Forester VIN 2024 is reduced from 170 - 230 million VND.

The discount for Forester in June is the same as in May but has increased by more than VND30 million compared to previous months, becoming one of the most deeply discounted car lines on the market. All cars eligible for the incentive have VIN 2024. The market has gone halfway through 2025, but the number of unsold cars is probably the biggest reason why MIV has to increase incentives to solve the inventory problem.

The Subaru Forester currently on sale in Vietnam is a mid-life upgrade model of the 5th generation, introduced to consumers from the end of October 2022. The car has 3 version options with suggested retail prices ranging from 969 million VND to 1.199 billion VND.

Not only Forester, but other Subaru models officially distributed in the Vietnamese automobile market also received big promotions from the manufacturer in June 2025. In particular, the Outback 2.5iT EyeSight model has the highest price incentive, up to 550 million VND, bringing the car price from 2.099 billion VND to 1.549 billion VND. However, the products eligible for the preferential price are all VIN 2023 cars. The VIN 2025 version of this SUV model is reduced by 10 million, from 1.769 billion to 1.759 billion VND.

The all-new B-size SUV Crosstrek 2.0 iS EyeSight is discounted by 69 million VND, with 100% of the registration fee (converted into cash and deducted directly from the retail price) for the 2.0 iS EyeSight e-Boxer Hybrid version. Along with that is a gift of an automatic electric trunk upgrade kit worth 19.5 million VND for both versions.
