Loc Troi accelerates innovation, creating green agricultural value chains from Mini Expo 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - From October 28-30, Loc Troi Group organized Mini Expo 2025 with the theme "From technology to practice - Comprehensive farming solutions for crops". The event gathered nearly 1,000 delegates representing agencies, research institutes, scientists, businesses, along with agricultural extension forces and key farmers in the Mekong Delta region.

Recreating sustainable agricultural ecosystems

Accordingly, Mini Expo 2025 is not only a place to introduce Loc Troi's product ecosystem and agricultural solutions, but also demonstrates a strong commitment to pioneering the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in agriculture.

With the message "From technology to practice", the event recreated Loc Troi's comprehensive agricultural ecosystem through 07 specialized demonstration farms, covering the entire value chain: from research on plant varieties, fertilizers, pesticides to high-quality commercial rice.

After more than three decades of accompanying Vietnamese farmers, Loc Troi has built a closed value chain, not only providing input materials but also transferring complete farming solutions, helping farmers increase productivity, reduce costs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase sustainable profits.

The workshop focused on evaluating “Comprehensive rice cultivation solutions towards sustainable development and emission reduction of Loc Troi Group”; the effectiveness of safe solutions in pest control in sustainable rice cultivation; JAPO 3-season rice variety - potential and prospects; listening to experience sharing, effectiveness of sustainable rice cultivation and emission reduction in the Mekong Delta region.

At demonstration farms, businesses introduce organic and biological farming models, smart plant care technology, and practical application products to improve soil health, protect the environment, and stabilize agricultural output.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Quoc Thanh, Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, highly appreciated the seminar on sustainable rice cultivation - emission reduction, along with the coordination program between the grassroots agricultural extension force and the technical team of Loc Troi enterprise, contributing to the construction of raw material areas according to the Project of 1 million hectares of high-quality rice associated with low emissions, towards Net Zero 2050. This is a step demonstrating Loc Troi's pioneering role in ensuring national food security, accompanying farmers and elevating Vietnamese rice in the international arena.

Accompanying the strategy of 1 million hectares of high-quality rice

One of the highlights of this year's Mini Expo is a series of seminars on sustainable rice cultivation, emission reduction and raw material area development associated with the Project of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice, aiming for the Net Zero 2050 target.

Through the coordination between the grassroots agricultural extension force and the enterprise's technical team, Loc Troi is demonstrating its leading role in ensuring national food security and elevating Vietnamese rice in the international market.

According to the group's representative, organizing Mini Expo 2025 not only creates a forum for in-depth exchange between scientists and farmers, but also connects the production - processing - consumption chain, contributing to solving the problem of "good harvest, low price" that has existed for a long time in Vietnamese agriculture.

Within the framework of the event, Loc Troi signed a strategic cooperation agreement to supply and distribute new generation plant protection and care products, serving the emission reduction farming model, an important milestone demonstrating the commitment to invest in green agriculture and transfer of modern technology.

Leading the trend of mechanization and innovation

Not only is Loc Troi a pioneer in seed research, it also continuously applies high technology and expands international cooperation. A notable milestone is the partnership with New Green Group (Japan) to test the Aigamo Robot, a device that supports weed and golden apple snail control, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions right from the start of the season.

At the same time, the group continues to breed new high-quality rice varieties, typically the exclusive Japo 3-Season rice variety, which was granted a protection certificate in 2024 and recognized for circulation in the Southeast region, expected to expand to the Mekong Delta in 2025.

These initiatives affirm Loc Troi's research, implementation and practical application capacity, connecting from the laboratory to the field, from science to business.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Thon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loc Troi Group, Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo is not only a guideline, but also a confirmation of the path Loc Troi has chosen and is on the right track.
