My wife is Nguyen Thi Nguyet Nga, born on September 19, 1959.
Native place: Xuan Hoa commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, now Van An commune, Nghe An province.
Former Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, former Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
Due to illness, my wife passed away at 9:25 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025 (June 23, At Ty year) in Hanoi.
The funeral will be held at the National Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Sunday, July 20, 2025. Cremation and burial will be held on the same day at Thien Duc Cemetery Park, Phu Tho.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the leaders of the Party and State, representatives of agencies, ministries, departments, branches, localities; central and local organizations and unions; Vietnamese representative agencies abroad; foreign representative agencies in Vietnam and international friends; grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, relatives on both sides, in-laws, neighbors, and close friends who have expressed condolences to the bereaved family and sent my wife to her final resting place. Your presence, sharing and affection are a great source of encouragement, helping our family overcome this painful loss.
We also sincerely thank the Funeral Organizing Committee, relevant units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government Office, the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, the Military Ceremonial Group and Thien Duc Cemetery Park, for their dedicated help in organizing the funeral in a complete and solemn manner.
During this time of confusion, if there is any negligence, we respectfully ask for your understanding and forgiveness.
