Long An: Nearly 25 tons of powdered milk of unknown origin discovered

On May 26, the Economic Police Department (Long An Provincial Police) announced that it had just discovered and handled 11,856 cans of powdered milk of unknown origin.

On May 23, Long An Provincial Police inspected an unnumbered house in Xom Moi Hamlet, Tan Lan Commune, Can Duoc District (Long An), and discovered 11,856 cans of various types of powdered milk (including brands such as: Z1000 Gold+; SANAKI; GROW IQ PLUS (SUN); GOLD 1; BIOTAR DIEST...), equivalent to about 25 tons, with an estimated value of more than 3 billion VND. Working with the police, the owner of the goods could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods. The police sealed and seized all of the above milk.
