On November 13, the working delegation of the Naval Region 4 Command led by Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of the Region, inspected the comprehensively strong unit "exemplary and typical" in 2024 for Brigade 955.
The inspection content is comprehensively carried out according to 4 criteria for building a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical". In particular, the focus is on inspecting the agency block on the implementation of key political tasks and breakthroughs identified at the beginning of the year; directing and guiding agencies and units to overcome weaknesses and weak points pointed out in previous inspections.

The inspection results show that the entire Brigade has thoroughly grasped the tasks and deployed the building of a comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" unit. Party committees and commanders at all levels have closely followed the key political tasks; thoroughly grasped the criteria for building exemplary regular ships and deployed them synchronously, uniformly, and with good quality. The quality of building a politically strong unit, maintaining strict discipline, training regime, combat readiness, building regularity, training discipline; ensuring logistics and techniques for other regular and unexpected tasks has been improved. The work of preserving and maintaining weapons and equipment has become increasingly detailed and in-depth.

Many tasks of Brigade 955 have been successfully completed such as: Transport tasks; on duty at checkpoints; transporting groups; replacing and collecting troops; joint training; coordinating with localities to promote the sea and islands to nearly 13,000 cadres, teachers and students; effectively organizing the program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea"... The Brigade has successfully completed the task of practicing live-fire shooting in the prescribed shooting exercises in the year, achieving 100% good and excellent results; successfully completing the 2024 exercise contents.
On behalf of the working delegation, Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam commended and acknowledged the efforts and achievements of Brigade 955. At the same time, he requested the Brigade to promptly overcome the shortcomings and limitations pointed out by the working delegation; review and fully implement the contents of the plan to build a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical"; strengthen training in regulations and improve the quality of military conduct; effectively carry out party and political work; grasp and manage the ideological situation of the troops, promptly handle arising issues, especially those of ships that regularly operate at sea for long periods of time.../..
