Based on regulations on petroleum business, the time for managing petroleum prices is implemented every Thursday.

However, if the fifth day falls on the last day of the Lunar year (29th or 30th of Lunar New Year), the petrol price adjustment will be carried out on the preceding Wednesday.

If Thursday is the 1st, 2nd or 3rd day of Tet, the petrol price adjustment period will be implemented on the 4th day of Tet.

In case the fifth day coincides with the first day of a holiday, the time for managing petrol prices will be implemented on the preceding Wednesday. If the fifth day coincides with the remaining holidays, the time for managing petrol prices will be implemented on the first working day after the holiday.

According to current regulations, Thursday, May 1, 2025 is International Labor Day (the second day of the April 30 and May 1 holidays). Therefore, the management of gasoline prices following the management period on April 24, 2025 will be implemented on Monday, May 5, 2025, the first working day after the holiday.
