Bo Thanh was the one who scored twice to help Saigon Titans take the lead in the 3rd and 23rd minutes. However, Sahako FC showed their mettle when they equalized thanks to goals from Nie Kdam (minute 15) and Antonio Moreira (minute 29).

The match ended in a 2-2 draw, with both teams having 14 points after 9 rounds. However, Sahako FC is temporarily ranked 3rd thanks to a better sub-index than Saigon Titans.

Round 9 will end on the evening of May 29 with the remaining two matches between Tan Hiep Hung - Thai Son Bac (3 p.m.) and Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi FC (6 p.m.).
