Actress Hoang Yen Chibi returns to music with "See you"

The return to the music scene of actress and singer Hoang Yen Chibi through the product "See you" attracted attention as all the scenes were filmed in Japan.

In particular, one of the MV's settings is the house where the famous movie First Love was filmed, released to the audience in 2022, inspired by the song Hatsukoi by musician Utada HiKaru.

The poetic MV, combined with the cheerful melody of the song, helped the audience fully enjoy the long-distance love story being told.

"See you" once again helps the audience witness the diverse image changes of Hoang Yen Chibi, when she returns to a feminine, sweet image.

Talking about the new product, Hoang Yen Chibi shared that the MV was inspired by a real story about people who had a long-distance relationship but then for some unknown reason it ended, the love story just became silent and said goodbye.

She not only went to Japan to film the product but also invited Japanese actors to film with her.

"Yen just wants to tell her feelings about the days we were together and the days we were apart, but she doesn't know how to get back together. Sometimes things happen for no reason and even many years later she may not be able to explain it" - Hoang Yen Chibi said.

The singer also revealed that the decision to make a MV in Japan was something she had never thought of, but there were many favorable factors that helped. The singer said she was lucky to have a team that was very united and like a family.

Regarding production costs, the female singer did not want to reveal specific numbers but: "The cost for a crew of 10 to stay and eat in Japan for 10 days is really not cheap at all, and fortunately it is only a little beyond my control."

Beautiful scenes in Japan in the MV

Not only did Hoang Yen Chibi invest in bringing the whole crew to Japan to film the MV, she also invited the handsome Japanese actor - Goki to accompany her in this MV. The female singer said she wanted to work with Japanese actors to see and learn how they work.

"Yen really learned a lot, the seriousness in work and always keeping a smile on her face while working, never complaining. In addition, filming in Japan, having a long-distance relationship in Japan, the male lead should be a Japanese guy, right... (laughs)" - Hoang Yen revealed.

As for the male lead Goki, he said that working with a foreign crew for the first time was stressful, but Hoang Yen and the crew made him feel very comfortable and full of energy.

"Hoang Yen Chibi is a very active girl, very friendly with everyone and always has a smile on her face. After the days of filming together, Goki felt everything went by very quickly. We filmed and ate delicious food. Thanks to this work, I think that one day I will visit Vietnam" - the male lead of the MV Hen Gap Anh expressed.
