Man City won a thrilling victory over Brighton

Man City faced a challenge from Brighton in round 9 of the Premier League. Both teams have not been in good form recently. With the return of Rodri, Man City played better but they still had to work hard to avoid losing the victory.

Brighton organized many quality counter-attacks and one of them became a goal. In the 73rd minute, Akanji cleared the ball straight to Ansu Fati in the Man City penalty area. The Spanish striker finished to reduce the score to 1-2.

Akanji was sent off shortly afterwards, picking up a second yellow card and leaving City with 10 men. Brighton continued to attack but lacked the spark to add to their tally. City struggled to hold on for a 2-1 lead until the end of the match.
