On November 25, the People's Committee of Mang Den Commune, Quang Ngai Province, announced that it would temporarily stop receiving visitors at the Pa Sy waterfall tourist site due to serious damage to the infrastructure after prolonged heavy rains. This decision was made to ensure the safety of visitors and to facilitate troubleshooting.
Heavy damage caused by floods
According to records, continuous heavy rains have caused landslides and rocks to flow down the stream, filling up many sections of the flow at Pa Sy waterfall area. Rising floodwaters have also washed away and damaged many tourist facilities.

In addition, some large trees have fallen, blocking the path and obstructing traffic in the tourist area, posing many potential safety risks to visitors if they continue to operate.
Urgently fix and ensure safety
Mang Den Commune Public Service Center has officially announced the temporary suspension of the tourist site until further notice. Mang Den Commune People's Committee leaders said that in the immediate future, the locality will use reserve funds to handle the flow and repair the damaged bridge.

On November 24, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Do Tam Hien directly inspected the scene. He requested Mang Den commune and related units to urgently clear the flow, handle landslides and immediately deploy solutions to ensure safety for infrastructure.
In the long term, the local government will report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to support funding for overall repairs. The tourist site will be reopened after the repair work is completed. Pa Sy Waterfall is one of the typical and popular destinations of Mang Den, famous for its natural landscape and cool air.
