Masan Consumer - owner of the Chinsu, Omachi brands... has just announced a document to collect shareholders' written opinions on the additional dividend payment for 2023 at a rate of 168% in cash (1 share receives an additional 16,800 VND). This additional dividend payment can be divided into one or more installments and will be made within 6 months from the date of approval of the Resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders.
With more than 717 million shares in circulation, Masan Consumer is expected to spend about VND12,050 billion to pay dividends to shareholders in this round. This is an additional dividend after the company has completed the previous 100% cash dividend payments (equivalent to VND10,000/share - total amount of VND7,171 billion). Thus, Masan Consumer will take almost all of the undistributed profits of the 2023 fiscal year (after deducting the VND10,000/share dividend mentioned above) to pay this additional dividend.
