Fatherland Front at all levels participates in environmental protection

Every year, the Fatherland Front at all levels coordinates with local Party committees and authorities to organize rallies and implement practical activities in response to "World Environment Day"; in response to the campaign "Make the world cleaner". Propaganda and dissemination of legal education on resource and environmental protection continue to be promoted in conjunction with movements such as "Action to reduce plastic and nylon pollution"; "Fight against plastic waste"; "Say no to single-use plastic products, refuse non-reusable products"...

To effectively carry out environmental protection work, the Fatherland Front at all levels also promoted the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; mobilized people to build green - clean - beautiful model streets and residential areas; added environmental protection contents to village covenants and conventions for all people to voluntarily implement. The Fatherland Front at districts and cities launched many exciting emulation movements, promoting the strength and participation of the entire political system and all people in environmental protection work. The Fatherland Front at all levels also proactively coordinated to effectively implement the movement "All people participate in environmental protection", stepped up propaganda to raise awareness and mobilize people to maintain environmental hygiene; included environmental protection contents in the emulation criteria, evaluated the titles "Cultural family", "Cultural residential area", "5-no residential area", "Advanced parish and parish", "Exemplary Catholic family". In particular, the construction of environmental self-management models such as "Self-managed residential areas for environmental protection", "Patriarchal and religious groups participating in environmental resource protection", "Waste collection teams", "Self-managed environmental protection teams" ... has contributed to promoting socialization, mobilizing maximum social resources to effectively carry out environmental protection work. In many localities, people discuss and develop specific indicators on environmental and landscape construction for joint implementation. People actively participate with the government in building, protecting, renovating and upgrading water supply and drainage systems, waste collection and treatment points, planting trees; not encroaching on roads and sidewalks; not dumping waste in violation of regulations; maintaining activities to keep streets, villages, and alleys clean, beautiful and tidy.

Along with that, the work of protecting the environment, responding to climate change, building a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape has been effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations, especially the provincial socio-political organizations. The provincial Fatherland Front, religious organizations, and socio-religious organizations operating in the province have signed a coordination program on promoting and promoting the role of religions in participating in environmental protection and responding to climate change in the period of 2023-2026. Through the program, it aims to continue raising awareness and sense of responsibility for environmental protection and responding to climate change of religious organizations, socio-religious organizations, dignitaries, officials, monks, nuns, followers of religions and people, promoting the movement "All people participate in environmental protection". Effectively promote the cultural values, good ethics and resources of religions participating in environmental protection and responding to climate change. Encourage religious organizations, socio-religious organizations and followers of religions to support, increase the use and exploitation of clean energy sources, renewable energy; apply energy saving measures, use energy appropriately and effectively. Strive to have 100% of religious dignitaries, officials, monks and followers of religions operating in the province deploy and actively respond to the coordination program by the end of 2026. Implementing environmental criteria in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas, in the first months of 2025, the Veterans Association at all levels planted 12,600 fruit and shade trees. The Provincial Farmers' Association organized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" and the movement to plant "Farmer's tree rows" planting nearly 9,000 shade trees; Continue to take care of 209 "Farmer's Tree Rows" planted in 2024. The Provincial Youth Union organized the Tet tree planting program "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" and planted over 125,000 trees. Farmers' Associations at all levels undertake models of "Collecting, classifying and processing organic waste into fertilizer at households", "Collecting pesticide packaging in the fields", "Model gardens"; mobilizing members to actively participate in the "Green Sunday" movement with specific tasks such as actively cleaning village roads, alleys, and hamlets to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape; dredging and clearing the flow of irrigation canals in the fields... The Youth Union promotes the "Volunteer Saturday" movement; undertakes self-managed roads; carries out 623 youth projects and tasks with a total value of over 3 billion VND, including many models, projects, and youth tasks participating in environmental protection. The provincial Association of War Veterans coordinates to organize training courses on basic environmental knowledge for cadres and members of War Veterans Associations in communes, hamlets, residential groups, and residential areas; At the same time, some waste collection and treatment equipment at the source were given to the Veterans Association, thereby building models of "Self-managed Veterans' Groups and Teams for Waste Collection". The Provincial Federation of Labor directed Trade Unions at all levels to coordinate with specialized agencies to promote the movement "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; coordinate to organize training courses on environmental protection for union officials and members; deploy the construction of environmental protection models in industrial parks and clusters in the district and city; organize supervision and guidance on environmental protection work at many enterprises in the province...

Along with promoting propaganda and mobilizing union members, association members and people of all walks of life, in the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to implement the program of coordinated action to protect the environment in the community; well organize the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; maintain and develop self-management models on environmental protection, create positive changes in the environment in each residential area, contributing to building advanced and exemplary new rural areas in localities.
