The Front is, first and foremost, the nucleus of unity.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, during the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoa Binh province has strongly reformed its content and methods of operation, focusing strongly on the grassroots level, following the motto of being close to the people, understanding the people, respecting the people, listening to the opinions and suggestions of all strata of the people to promptly reflect them to the Party committees and authorities at all levels; promoting the role of gathering and building the great national unity, together with the Party and the State to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech and gave directives at the Congress.

Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," "All people unite to build a cultured life," "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"...; and movements like "For the poor, leaving no one behind," "Month of intensive support for the poor"... have been implemented extensively and vigorously, attracting large numbers of people from all walks of life to participate.

Social security work has been strengthened; many practical and meaningful activities have been organized. The Fatherland Front has always been a reliable address, a warm and united "common home" for compassionate hearts and noble deeds, thereby spreading the spirit of patriotism and mutual support in the community to help the poor and those in difficult circumstances.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh province has coordinated with all levels and sectors to mobilize the people's support and resources in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic; organized well the annual National Unity Day activities in residential areas, creating a sense of unity, solidarity, and a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the people, truly making it a festival for all. It has proactively participated in building the political system, building a clean and strong Party and government. It has strengthened social supervision and criticism activities, contributing many opinions to help Party committees and governments at all levels amend, supplement, and improve the effectiveness of implementing policies and guidelines in the locality.

The achievements further affirm the organization's important position in social life, directly contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and the overall achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province; thereby consolidating and enhancing the people's trust in the Party committee and government, creating unity of will between the Party and the people.

At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long expressed his agreement with the overall direction, objectives, and 11 key targets, as well as the action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh province for the 16th term, 2024-2029, as outlined in the Political Report presented to the Congress.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long suggested that the Congress should incorporate the heartfelt and insightful guidance of Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to concretize and clearly define appropriate goals, tasks, and solutions for the next term.

To address the limitations and shortcomings in the work of the Fatherland Front in the new term, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long has also issued directives and solutions.

To ensure that the work of the Fatherland Front continues to develop, have a profound impact, and bring practical results, contributing to the successful achievement of the set goals and tasks, Mr. Long emphasized: Strengthening propaganda and raising awareness among all levels, sectors, cadres, Party members, and the people about the importance of the cause of national unity, about the position, role, functions, and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period, in order to awaken and promote the tradition and strength of national unity and the glorious historical, cultural, and revolutionary traditions of the homeland.

Strengthening the great national unity, first and foremost, is crucial within the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, promoting the role and position of the Front's working committees in residential areas and within each member organization. Within the common home of the great national unity, each Front official must be a "builder" of national unity, a nucleus of unity, as President Ho Chi Minh taught: "Above for the country, below for the people; firstly, for the benefit of the country, secondly, for the benefit of the people." The Party Committee, government, and people place great trust and expectation in the new thinking and effective methods of the provincial Fatherland Front during the 2024-2029 term.

In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must continue to play a core role in effectively implementing two new initiatives: the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 and the program to build "Self-governing, united, prosperous, and happy" residential areas.

Further improve the tasks of supervision, social criticism, and constructive feedback on Party and government building, especially regarding the development of mechanisms and policies; strengthen supervision of the implementation of democratic regulations, particularly the supervision of investment in infrastructure construction projects at the grassroots level, and issues related to the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members, and the people; focus on supervising the moral cultivation and lifestyle, and the exemplary conduct of leaders, key officials, and cadres and Party members; actively prepare to contribute feedback to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; participate in successfully organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The new term of the Hoa Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has 85 members.

The 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoa Binh province, for the term 2024-2029, was successfully held. The Congress elected the provincial Fatherland Front leadership positions and 85 members for the new term.

On the morning of August 1st, with high consensus, 100% of delegates voted to approve the Congress Resolution. The Congress fully implemented all the planned contents and concluded successfully.

The Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hoa Binh province has elected 85 members to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 16th term, 2024-2029.

At the first meeting of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 16th term, the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Standing Committee members for the 2024-2029 term were elected through consultation.

Accordingly, Mr. Bui Van Luyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 15th term, was elected by consensus to hold the position of Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 16th term. The Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee are: Mr. Xa Duc Tho, Mr. Sung A Chenh, and Mr. Trieu Viet Anh.

The Congress also nominated 7 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

At the Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh province also announced that it was honored to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Prime Minister.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also awarded Certificates of Merit to two Front officials who have made significant contributions to the Front's work.

At the conclusion of the Congress, the members who ceased their participation in the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 16th term (2024-2029) were also recognized by the Congress for their contributions and presented with gifts.
