New record of Russian aircraft
On July 29, SF reported that reports from many Russian military sources said that the Su-35S fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces set a record when it shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 at close range.
The Ukrainian plane is believed to have been hit by a Russian R-37M long-range air-to-air missile at a record flight range of 213km.
The Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29A fighter jet was reportedly detected by Russian pilots at a distance of about 270 km. The Ukrainian aircraft was then attacked while preparing to launch an American-made AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile. According to SF, after the attack, the target disappeared from Russian radar and did not return to the Ukrainian airport.
Currently, the Russian R-37M supersonic air-to-air missile is the world's longest-range guided air-to-air missile. Its maximum range is 300km. The missile weighs more than half a ton and the warhead weight is 60kg. It is designed to destroy aerial targets, including enemy aircraft.

Russia destroys Ukraine's multiple launch rocket system
On July 29, AVP also reported on another costly loss of equipment suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Accordingly, the Russian military destroyed a multiple launch rocket system in the Novotroitsky area. The Iskander complex continued to be used by the Russian military in this attack.
The Russian Defense Ministry report said that as a result of the attack, in addition to the launcher, a Ukrainian escort vehicle was also destroyed by Russian fire.
This attack was carried out as part of an ongoing special operation, the purpose of which was to destroy important enemy facilities and equipment. The attack was carried out with high precision.

The multiple launch rocket system is one of the most powerful and effective systems used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The destruction of this system is a significant success for the Russian military, as the multiple launch rocket system is capable of carrying out massive strikes on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces from a considerable distance.
