Mother-in-law beaten by daughter-in-law in Ca Mau has caused a stir in public opinion in the past few days.

On August 18, a leader of the People's Committee of Nguyen Viet Khai commune, Phu Tan district, Ca Mau province confirmed that a case of a daughter-in-law beating her mother-in-law, causing injury, had just occurred in the area.

According to initial information, on August 14, Nguyen Viet Khai Commune Police received a report that Mrs. Le Thi Sanh (69 years old) was beaten by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Luong Thi Cam Loan (38 years old), causing injuries to her face and right eye.

Afterwards, Ms. Loan was invited to work and she admitted to injuring her mother-in-law.

Currently, Nguyen Viet Khai Commune Police have completed the file and submitted it to the Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee to issue a decision to administratively sanction Ms. Loan with a fine of 7.5 million VND. In addition, local authorities have also organizededucation for Ms. Loan and have also pledged not to re-offend.
