On the morning of October 24, the first strong cold air of the season continued to affect Hanoi and localities in the North and North Central regions. The sky was still cloudy, the temperature dropped, and the weather was cold (some places were slightly cold).

From night to morning, people in Hanoi clearly feel the cold air. After 7am, the weather is about 1 degree Celsius warmer than yesterday, but the north wind is still blowing so almost everyone going out has to wear a warm coat. The temperature at 6-7am is 18-19 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorological experts, by noon today, Hanoi will have less clouds, the sky will gradually brighten but the air will be dry, the highest temperature will be around 24 degrees Celsius. It is forecasted that tomorrow morning, October 25, Hanoi will be warmer, with more weak sunshine.

According to the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention, today in the Northeast region, some places have temperatures below 17 degrees Celsius, with cold mornings and nights and cold days.
In the Central region, heavy rain is still the main. The area from South Quang Tri to Hue still has heavy to very heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 100-250mm, locally over 450mm. The heavy rain area is forecast to gradually move south, concentrated in Da Nang and Quang Ngai. In Hue alone, the rainfall in the inner city last night exceeded 200mm. It is forecasted that until October 26, heavy rain will continue in the Central Central and South Central regions due to the impact of increased East winds and cold air.
In the Central Highlands and the South, today there will be intermittent sunshine, with increased thunderstorms in the evening (but only locally). The lowest temperature is 19-22 degrees Celsius in the Central Highlands, 23-26 degrees Celsius in the South. The highest temperature in the Central Highlands is 27-30 degrees Celsius and in the South is 30-33 degrees Celsius.
