At the Congress, delegates approved the Charter, regulations on organization and operation of the Association, and elected the Executive Committee of 50 members and the Inspection Committee of 3 members. Immediately after that, the Executive Committee held its first meeting and elected Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Phuong Mai, former Deputy Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health ( Ministry of Health ), to hold the position of President of the Association.

Immediately after the Congress, the Vietnam Menopausal Women's Health Care Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Obstetrics and Gynecology Association organized a workshop on "Menopausal Hormone Therapy - Important observations in countries and recommendations from the International Menopause Society IMS 2025". The workshop aimed to update the latest scientific information, share international experiences and orient applications in treatment practices in Vietnam.

According to statistics, Vietnam currently has about 13 million women in pre-menopause and menopause, increasing by about 200,000 people each year. About 20% of these women have disorders that require medical intervention, showing that this is a very large group. However, many women still silently endure this stage due to lack of basic information about symptoms and treatment methods, negatively affecting their health and quality of life.

The establishment of the Vietnam Menopausal Women's Health Care Association is therefore of special importance — contributing to raising community awareness, promoting research, training and communication, aiming at comprehensive care, improving quality of life and promoting the role of women in modern society.
