Today, April 28, at Hung Vuong Primary School, Dong Ha City, the school's Board of Directors and the parents of Le Kim Bao Ngoc, class 3E, Hung Vuong Primary School, organized a ceremony to return a gold necklace to Ms. Vo Thi Phe (born in 1966), residing in Kinh Mon village, Trung Son commune, Gio Linh district.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 2025, Ms. Vo Thi Phe and her family were swimming at Cua Viet beach when they accidentally dropped an 18k 2-tael gold necklace worth over 12 million VND. After discovering the lost property, Ms. Phe's family searched for it but could not find it.

At around 6:20 a.m. yesterday, April 27, while swimming at Cua Viet beach with her parents, Le Kim Bao Ngoc discovered a gold necklace and gave it to her father, Le Ba Tuan (born in 1986), residing in Tan Vinh quarter, Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha city.

Mr. Tuan then posted information on his personal Facebook page to return the necklace that his daughter found. After verifying that the gold necklace belonged to Mrs. Phe, Mr. Tuan returned it to her.

“In response to the beautiful act of student Le Kim Bao Ngoc, the school organized a meeting to commend and award her a certificate of merit. During her studies, Bao Ngoc was an excellent student, with a cheerful and gentle personality, always highly appreciated by teachers,” said Nguyen Thi Minh Thu, Principal of Hung Vuong Primary School.
