According to the report, to date, 93 agencies, units, localities, and enterprises have been twinned with 67 communes in ethnic minority areas - mountainous, border, and inland areas; 9 districts, towns, and plain cities have been twinned with 7 mountainous districts and sponsored 21 communes of the province. In 2024, the total value of support and investment will be nearly 23.9 billion VND.
Specifically, implementing socio -economic development support according to the direction in Decision No. 3651 of the Provincial People's Committee, in the past time, the parties connected and coordinated to participate in twinning, proposed needs, called for and attracted resources, prioritized the implementation of building, maintaining, developing and replicating collective economic development models such as supporting pigs, breeding cows, growing vegetables, planting forests for timber, medicinal plants... with a total budget of nearly 5 billion VND.
In addition, the units and localities that have been linked focus on providing specific support to households with housing difficulties, providing additional support for people to buy and complete houses with a budget of more than 4 billion VND; providing support in the form of giving gifts to people in difficulty, policy families, near-poor households, prestigious village elders, students and people in difficulty during the Lunar New Year, on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the industry, the Party Committee of the commune, village... with a budget of more than 4.4 billion VND.
Units and businesses support the installation of solar power systems to light up rural roads, build classrooms, provide bicycles, 4G equipment, etc.; support the construction of grassroots political systems in many suitable and practical forms with resources of billions of VND.
