Seize the opportunity to reach out to the ocean

Since the beginning of May 2025, the issue that has received much attention from the public and businesses is the implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development by all levels and sectors. Then, on May 17, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 on a number of special mechanisms for the private economy. Also on May 17, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and issued Resolution No. 139/NQ-CP on the Plan to implement Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly. According to the assessment, the documents are all aimed at removing bottlenecks in mechanisms, policies, and difficulties in accessing capital, land, and modern science and technology, creating favorable conditions for private enterprises to have many opportunities to strongly develop production and business activities.

In Binh Duong, the private economy has been asserting its increasingly important position. Previously, this sector was still in its infancy, but now there are large private corporations, contributing significantly to GDP growth, job creation and improving local competitiveness. Up to now, the province has formed large-scale private enterprises with the ability to reach out to regional and world markets. Compared to state-owned enterprises and foreign investment sectors, although the private economy has not yet become a pillar that comprehensively dominates the economy, this is only a matter of time. The core issue now is how the private economic sector can develop in the right direction, steadily and make breakthroughs.

The good news is that facing great difficulties, such as the complicated and unpredictable world situation, strategic competition between major countries, fierce conflicts in many places, slowing global economic growth, trade, global investment, instability, increased risks... as at present, businesses believe that this is also an opportunity for businesses to restructure production, business, markets, avoid being too dependent on a few markets when there are fluctuations, which will incur great risks. Businesses are also waiting for favorable negotiation information from the United States in the direction of reducing tariffs on imported goods from Vietnam to 10%, thereby creating good opportunities for private enterprises to develop and expand production in the new period.
