In the first quarter competition, right in the Warm-up round, Duy Khoa demonstrated his solid and broad knowledge when he won 70 points, taking the lead in the climbing group and 25 points ahead of the second-placed player.
In the Obstacle Course round, although he did not get a point on the first suggested horizontal question, Duy Khoa signaled to answer the Obstacle Course right after this suggestion.
By giving the correct answer to the Obstacle “semiconductor”, the Hue male student earned himself 60 more points, bringing his total score to 130 points. At this time, Duy Khoa was 75 points ahead of his second-placed friend.
The male student shared that during the Olympia preparation process, he often read a lot of news and that also helped him solve the Obstacles.
In the Acceleration round, Duy Khoa only gained 30 more points, but still maintained his leading position with 160 points. However, after this round, the gap between him and his two friends in second place was only 25 points.

In the Finish Line round, Duy Khoa chose a package of 3 questions worth 20 points.
Right in the first question, by not giving the correct answer and being overtaken by Minh Triet with the correct answer, Duy Khoa was deducted 20 points, leaving him with only 140. At this point, the leading position temporarily “changed hands” when Minh Triet had 155 points. In the next two questions, Duy Khoa also could not give the answer, but neither could the other players.
In Minh Triet's contest right after that, Duy Khoa won the right to answer the first question but the answer was incorrect, 10 points were deducted, leaving him with only 130 points.
The drama of the final match became more intense when before the last round of Manh Dung, Duy Khoa only had 130 points, less than the other two players, Minh Triet (155 points) and Viet Hoang (140 points).
And when it came to the last question of the contestant Manh Dung's turn - also the last question of the contest, Duy Khoa pressed the bell to gain the right to answer. With the correct answer, Duy Khoa won 30 more points and made a dramatic comeback to win the laurel wreath of the 25th year of the Road to Olympia Quarter 1 contest.
Through that, I brought the final match to Thua Thien Hue for the third consecutive year.

Only 5 points behind Duy Khoa, finishing in second place was Tran Le Minh Triet (Gifted High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University) with 155 points.
Following behind are candidates Vu Viet Hoang (Song Cong High School, Thai Nguyen) with 140 points and Phung Manh Dung (Quang Oai High School, Hanoi) with 25 points.
