On June 7, according to information from Mr. Vo Danh Thuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Thuy Commune (Le Thuy District, Quang Binh ), the local government is coordinating with relevant units to clarify the case of a 9th grade male student in the area being beaten by a group of classmates.

Accordingly, the incident occurred on June 3, TVV (15 years old, 9C student, Hung Thuy Secondary School) went to attend the farewell party at the end of the year and got into a conflict. V. was then beaten by his friends and had to be treated at Hue Central Hospital. The incident also caused V. to miss the 10th grade exam in Quang Binh taking place today (June 7).
According to Mr. Thuan, the commune government has directed relevant units to investigate and clarify the students who participated in beating V., and at the same time coordinate with the police force to handle the case.
"We will summon the teachers in charge and the students who were confirmed to have participated in beating V. to clarify the incident. Currently, V. is still being treated in Hue and had to miss the 10th grade entrance exam this morning," said Mr. Thuan.
Also according to Mr. Thuan, through initial discussion, student V. said that there were 8 students participating in beating the male student, however the number may be higher based on initial investigations.
Currently, the case of a 9th grade male student being beaten by a group of people and unable to take the 10th grade exam is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
