On October 23, Major Van Thanh Loc, Chief of Cua Dai Border Guard Station (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province) said that the unit is coordinating with local authorities and people to search for a Korean national who went missing while swimming at the beach.
Previously, at around 5:20 p.m. on October 22, Mr. LJH and Mr. PHJ (both born in 1999, Korean nationality) were swimming at An Bang beach, Cam An ward, Hoi An city. At around 6:15 p.m. the same day, Mr. LJH went ashore and discovered that Mr. PHJ had drowned and was missing, so he reported it to the authorities.

Border Guard forces organize search for victims |
Upon receiving the news, Cua Dai Border Guard Station sent 2 teams/24 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and people to search along the coast.
At 2:30 p.m. on October 23, search forces found PHJ's body at Cua Dai beach, Cua Dai ward.
