On August 17, the University of Languages and International Studies (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), in collaboration with the Office of Project 844, Ministry of Science and Technology, organized a Conference to present the results of the English for Startups training course. The event aimed to announce and share the results achieved from the training course for startup entrepreneurs, thereby promoting connection and cooperation in the technology startup ecosystem.

This is a product of the project 844 chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology, implemented by the University of Languages and International Studies (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
At the Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh - Vice President of the University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi ), Head of the University's Project 844, reported on the results of the implementation of the task, which was not only an opportunity for students to present their learning results but also an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss opportunities for cooperation and development in the future.
The English for Startups training course equipped the students with important skills to communicate and present effectively in an international environment. During the conference, the students presented their projects and business plans, showing a clear improvement in their English language skills. The presentations not only reflected the students’ efforts but also demonstrated innovative and creative ideas in various fields of technology.
Mr. Luong Van Thuong, representative of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology), said that English training for startups is an important part of the strategy to enhance national competitiveness and emphasized the need to apply the knowledge and skills learned into practice, while calling on incubators and technology villages to continue supporting startups in realizing their business ideas.
According to Mr. Thuong, one of the important highlights of the Conference was the connection between startups, incubators and investors. The event created a forum for delegates to share experiences and discuss the orientations of English training for startups as well as improving the capacity to develop international markets and call for investment capital.

At the Conference, incubators and technology villages, organizations, and support networks such as the VNEI Network of Innovation and Startup Support Centers, BambuUP, also presented the support programs and resources they provide, helping startups become more aware of available opportunities and together build sustainable innovation clusters.
Also at the Conference, startups introduced their projects and had a simulation of “pitching” and calling for international investment capital in front of a panel of experts and investors. Notable projects include MeticWork, Cyber Security, GBO. Through the simulation session, the Conference not only saw the progress and ability to “pitch” and call for capital in English of students but also connected and introduced projects to organizations and investors.
The conference is not only an important event in evaluating training results but also an important step in supporting Vietnamese startups. The results achieved from the training course will contribute to building a strong and sustainable startup ecosystem, while creating new opportunities for startup entrepreneurs.
In addition, the Conference also opened up orientations on Training Courses as well as solution groups to promote resources in ecological support to accompany startups in their journey to conquer the international market.
