It is forecasted that today (June 7), the Central and Southern regions will continue to experience hot weather, with some areas experiencing severe heat. There is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires in many places.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 7, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Thuan will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places will be over 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 50 - 55%. The hot weather will last from 11 am to 4 pm.

The Southern region has hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 36 degrees Celsius, some places over 36 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 55 - 60%. The hot weather lasts from 12 - 15 hours a day.

It is forecasted that from June 9, the heat in the Central and Southern regions will gradually decrease.

Due to the effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.

In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

Weather forecast for the night of June 7 and June 8 in regions across the country:

Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An : Scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; in the North, from early morning of June 8, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Provinces from Ha Tinh to Binh Thuan: In the late afternoon and at night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms; during the day, it will be hot and sunny, with some places experiencing severe heat; in the evening of June 8, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands and Southern regions: In the late afternoon and at night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms; during the day, it will be sunny, and the Southern region will be hot; in the evening of June 8, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
