Fierce fighting continues in the village of Sokol, west of Ocheretino. The Ukrainian Armed Forces there have repeatedly abandoned their positions under heavy Russian fire, but have since recaptured parts of the gray zone, suffering losses of Abrams tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
To the north of Ocheretino, the Russian Armed Forces expanded their zone of control towards Kalinovo and northwest of Umanske towards Novoselovka Pervaya. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to launch counterattacks to stop the Russian troops.
