State Bank Region 2 organizes a series of events towards National Reunification Day

Highlights of the photo exhibition “Banking industry for the development of Ho Chi Minh City” taking place from April 5 to 10, at Lam Son Park (District 1) with the theme: The formation process of the Ho Chi Minh City Banking industry.

According to the Organizing Committee, the photo exhibition will display documents and images about the Bank-Business Connection activities, modern banking services that have been innovated to be closer to the people.

The bank's social security activities for the community, the efforts of bank staff to bring payment services, money transfers... to the city's people during the Covid-19 pandemic...

In addition, party members, cadres and civil servants of the city's banking sector will make trips to the source toeducate the revolutionary tradition for the city's banking youth named after Uncle Ho, such as visiting historical sites of the city associated with the Ho Chi Minh Campaign by bicycle, offering incense at the relic site and statue of Uncle Ho...

In the historic month of April, the Ho Chi Minh City Banking Sports Festival will open on April 19, with about 1,300 athletes who are officials, civil servants, and employees of the city's banking sector from 50 credit institutions and units under the State Bank of Vietnam in the area participating.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Banking Sports Festival with 6 events: Chinese chess, badminton, volleyball, tennis, table tennis and men's mini football, is expected to award 200 medals. The preliminary round of the first round of the emulation movement will be held on April 20 at the National Defense Sports Center 2 - Military Region 7 Gymnasium.

In parallel, on April 20, the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch, will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee to organize the Summary of the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the city. According to information from the organizing committee of this program, up to now, there are 25 credit institutions in Ho Chi Minh City registered to participate in the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" with a total budget of more than 35 billion VND.
