Highlights
The 2020-2025 period witnessed comprehensive and extensive innovation in the emulation and reward work of the Quang Trieducation sector. The emulation movements were not only implemented synchronously and widely but also creatively and practically, closely linked to each specific goal and characteristic of each level and grade.
Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Huong said that the unit has proactively issued and implemented Plan No. 2563/KH-SGDĐT dated December 23, 2020 on implementing the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" in the Quang Tri Education and Training sector for the period 2020 - 2025. This is an important guideline, creating a premise for the development of other emulation movements such as "Emulation to teach well - learn well", "Building happy schools", "Cadres, civil servants, public employees, teachers, and workers compete to practice office culture".
These movements do not stop at slogans but go into depth, effectively integrating with major campaigns of the Party and State, especially Directive No. 05-CT/TW on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and the campaign "Every teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity".
In order to shape a standard and developed educational environment, the Department of Education and Training has issued many important directives. These regulations have contributed to building a team of disciplined, professional and dedicated cadres, teachers and employees. The emulation movement has urged the team of managers, teachers and employees to constantly self-study, self-improve and improve their professional qualifications. A clear proof is the strong change in innovation in teaching methods towards developing students' capacity. This is demonstrated through the results of excellent students at the national and provincial levels and science and technology competitions.
Over the past 5 years, thousands of students have won provincial-level excellent student awards at secondary and high school levels; the results of national excellent student exams in cultural subjects have had positive changes in the quantity and quality of awards.
Notably, at the 2023 National "Students with Startup Ideas" Competition, the project "Designing a virtual model of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel to serve education and tourism" by a group of students from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted won the First Prize; Tran Vinh Khanh, a student from Quang Tri High School, won the Bronze Medal at the 2023 Asia Pacific Informatics Olympiad; Cao Trung Quan and Le Minh Hieu, from Quang Tri High School, won the Fourth Prize at the Intel ISEF 2025 Science and Engineering Competition in the United States. This is not only the pride of the school and the province, but also demonstrates the effectiveness of innovation in teaching and learning, encouraging creative thinking, and applying knowledge to practice.
At the same time, the disciplined and cultural educational environment has been firmly consolidated. The implementation of the regulations on office culture, discipline and administrative discipline has gone into depth, creating a standard working style and routine.
Schools have become safe, friendly, green - clean - beautiful spaces, where students can develop comprehensively in terms of knowledge, physical strength and personality. This transformation not only has a positive impact on the ethics and lifestyle of staff and teachers but also spreads to each student, contributing to the formation of a generation of conscious and responsible citizens.
Importantly, the emulation movements have aroused the creative potential in each cadre and teacher. In the period 2020-2025, 1,318 initiatives and scientific research topics were considered and recognized by the Department of Education and Training for effective application and influence at the sectoral level; over 11,000 initiatives were considered and recognized by the People's Committee at the district level for their influence and effective application; 495 initiatives were recognized for their effective application and influence at the provincial level.
These initiatives not only contribute to improving the quality of education but also demonstrate the dynamism and enthusiasm of Quang Tri's teaching staff in researching and improving to achieve the highest efficiency. The application of information technology in management and teaching is also promoted, contributing to the modernization of education.
To achieve the above results, the education sector has implemented commendation work promptly, creating a widespread effect. In the period of 2020-2025, the whole sector has 218 collectives and 714 individuals receiving certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 57 collectives and 179 individuals receiving certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training. Notably, 7 collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Education and Training; 14 collectives and 34 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister. 16 individuals were awarded the title of Excellent Teacher...
Aspiration to reach far
Ms. Le Thi Huong added that, entering the 2025-2030 period, the Quang Tri education sector is facing new requirements of the international integration trend and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, requiring more fundamental and comprehensive innovation. On the basis of the achievements, the sector will continue to promote patriotic emulation movements with the goal of improving the quality of comprehensive education, building a strong team of cadres and teachers and developing students comprehensively.
The key tasks will focus on innovating emulation and reward work in a practical and effective manner, avoiding formalities. Promoting emulation movements associated with the implementation of political tasks of the industry and locality, especially focusing on discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models, good people and good deeds. The industry will continue to strongly apply information technology to emulation and reward work, towards the motto "Solidarity, discipline, creativity, development".
The achievements of the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2020-2025 are vivid evidence of the tireless efforts, solidarity and will to rise of the entire education sector of Quang Tri. This is a solid foundation for the sector to continue to promote its tradition and overcome all difficulties and challenges in the coming period.
With the desire for innovation and development, we believe that the Quang Tri education sector will achieve even greater results, contributing to creating a future generation of knowledge and morality, making worthy contributions to the cause of building and developing the increasingly beautiful homeland of Quang Tri.
