Component projects 3 and 5 of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia ( Dak Nong ) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) were chosen by Binh Phuoc to start construction to celebrate the country's special event.

Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Anh Tuan approved the province's draft plan to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The groundbreaking ceremony of component project 3 "Investment in construction of service roads and overpasses across Binh Phuoc province" and component project 5 "Compensation, support and resettlement across Binh Phuoc province" under the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) is scheduled to take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on April 19, 2025 (Saturday) at Hamlet 3, Tien Hung commune, Dong Xoai city, with the participation of central leaders, neighboring provinces and cities, and leaders and former leaders of the province.

The groundbreaking ceremony of these two component projects will officially kick off the construction project of the North-South Expressway in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section. In addition to the practical significance of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the event also marks an important step forward in the development of the province's transport infrastructure.
