Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, said: "The Voluntary Blood Donation Festival is a meaningful activity that creates a ripple effect, contributing to promoting propaganda and mobilizing officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people to participate in blood donation, especially during the peak summer season of 2025. With the message "Donate blood - Give life", the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society calls on all officers, soldiers, union members, and volunteers to actively participate in blood donation, for the health of the community and their own health.
The activity was organized in response to the 13th "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood" Program in 2025, held in 48 provinces and cities, including Binh Thuan province. The festival received enthusiastic responses from officers and soldiers of Regiment 920. The medical team of the Provincial General Hospital and An Phuoc Hospital conducted thorough examinations and screening to ensure high-quality blood for emergency and treatment. As a result, 166 units of blood were received, contributing to meeting the blood needs for treatment at medical facilities in the province.
