Health training and community bonding festival in Yen Hoa

On the morning of October 26, Yen Hoa ward opened the first Sports Festival, attracting a large number of officials, people and athletes to participate.

The event took place in an exciting atmosphere, welcoming the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Cuong - Vice Chairman of Yen Hoa Ward People's Committee affirmed: Health is the most precious asset of human beings and is an invaluable asset of the nation. The sports movement not only helps improve physical fitness, but also creates a spirit of solidarity, cultural and civilized lifestyle in the community. In recent years, the sports movement has strongly and widely developed in the ward. Many volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and sports dance clubs are maintained regularly.

The first Yen Hoa Ward Sports Festival is an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the mass sports movement in the past time, and at the same time select outstanding athletes to compete in the upcoming City-level Sports Festival.

The congress gathered more than 1,400 athletes from 28 agencies, units, schools and residential groups, competing in 8 sports, including: mini football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tug of war, chess, sports dancing...

The leaders of Yen Hoa ward expressed their hope that the Congress would not only be a sports playground, but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of health training, improve the spiritual life of the people, and contribute to building Yen Hoa into a civilized, modern and livable ward.
