National Security Protection Day in Tinh An Dong Commune

(Baoquangngai.vn) - Steering Committee 138 of Tinh An Dong commune ( Quang Ngai city) organized the National Day for National Security Protection in 2024.

The festival was held on the afternoon of August 16. This is one of two localities chosen by the Steering Committee 138 of Quang Ngai City as the venue for the city's festival.

In a joyful and exciting atmosphere, delegates reviewed the tradition of the National Day for National Security Protection; listened to reports on the situation of ensuring security and order in the commune in the past time and key tasks in the coming time.

Realizing the importance of building the movement of All people protecting national security in maintaining political stability, social order and safety, contributing to socio-economic development, in recent times, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tinh An Dong commune have focused on leading and directing the innovation of the content and form of the movement in accordance with the practical situation of the locality, effectively contributing to the program of building new rural areas, socio-economic development of the city in general and the locality in particular.

Many security models have been built and replicated. Specifically, the effective operation of the security camera model; the model of the Inter-family Safety Team for fire prevention and fighting; the model of the public fire fighting point; the school gate is safe for traffic safety and order; the model of preventing juvenile law violations; the model of zalo connecting peace.

The most prominent of these is the "Security Surveillance Camera" model, which has been deployed since early 2019. Currently, there are 6 cameras installed on the commune's roads and have been highly effective, welcomed and supported by the people.

In early 2024, the model was agreed by the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune to expand the connection, exploit and use 4 cameras at 4 points of the Green - Clean - Beautiful road camera system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to serve the monitoring of security and order in the commune. This model has helped the commune police force grasp the situation of the area, manage subjects, investigate and resolve 30 cases of all kinds.

The Commune Police coordinated with the City Police Department's professional teams and agencies, units, associations and unions to organize 6 rounds of launching and disseminating the law in villages, schools and agencies, with over 1,500 participants. Thereby, helping the people in the area to raise their awareness and understanding of the law and at the same time be aware of their responsibilities and obligations in ensuring security and order in the locality.

Thanks to the good implementation of propaganda and mobilization work, the masses have provided the Commune Police with many valuable sources of information to serve the prevention and effective fight against all kinds of crimes and social evils.

Speaking at the festival, Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Nhat - Deputy Head of Quang Ngai City Police, on behalf of the leaders of the city's Steering Committee 138, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the people and cadres of Tinh An Dong commune in ensuring security and order and building the movement of All people protecting national security in recent times.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Nhat emphasized that in the coming time, the task of ensuring security and order associated with socio -economic development and promoting the movement of All People Protecting National Security will face many new opportunities and challenges; the situation of crime and social evils will have complicated developments and is forecast to become more serious.

Representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Tinh An Dong Commune Police signed a coordination program in building the movement of All People Protecting National Security in the new situation, period up to 2030.

To build the great national unity bloc, contribute to ensuring security and order, create a stable and solid environment for socio-economic development, the Deputy Chief of Quang Ngai City Police requested the Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people to continue to raise awareness that the movement of All People Protecting National Security is a very important task, requiring the participation of the entire political system and all classes of people; continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Public Security and localities on ensuring security and order and building the movement of All People Protecting National Security.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of Quang Ngai City People's Committee and Tinh An Dong Commune People's Committee.

The Commune Police continue to advise local Party committees and authorities to deploy and play a core role in effectively implementing the movement of All People Protecting National Security; replicating advanced models and examples in the commune; respecting the people, being close to the people, relying on the great strength of the people, thoroughly grasping Uncle Ho's teaching: " When the people help us a lot, we will have a lot of success; when they help us a little, we will have little success; when they help us completely, we will have complete victory".

In order to recognize the efforts of the collective of cadres and people of Tinh An Dong commune in the movement of All people protecting national security, on this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai city awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; The People's Committee of Tinh An Dong commune awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 7 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security in 2024.
