Accompanying, encouraging and sharing children to develop comprehensively is not only the responsibility and duty of parents, but also requires the joint efforts of the whole society and authorities at all levels. On May 30, Ho Chi Minh City leaders had a meeting to listen to the voices of children. This is an annual, meaningful and practical activity that Ho Chi Minh City has carried out for many years during the Month of Action for Children, International Children's Day, to listen to the opinions, thoughts and feelings of children. This year, many opinions expressed by children revolved around practical groups of issues such as: mental health of students, increasing the height of students in the city, nurturing the intelligence and capacity of citizens, improving environmental conditions... Comrade Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, expressed that the program is an opportunity for the city's leaders to listen to the voices, thoughts and aspirations of children - the future owners of the city and the country.
