Tourism and services become the economic pillars of Khanh Hoa.
Resolution No. 01 of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on double-digit economic growth in the period of 2025 - 2030 has identified: tourism - services as one of the four important pillars, playing a driving role in the socio-economic development strategy of the province.
According to the Resolution, by 2030, Khanh Hoa strives to welcome 20.5 million visitors, including 10.5 million international visitors, forming a system of 100,000 accommodation rooms, with 75% meeting 3-5 star standards, creating jobs for more than 300,000 workers, the tourism industry contributing 15% of GRDP and 20% of local budget revenue.
And to achieve the double-digit growth target, the tourism industry must aim to improve quality and create a difference. Khanh Hoa's development orientation focuses on sea, island, ecological, community tourism, health care resorts, heritage and spiritual tourism, associated with environmental protection and promoting cultural identity. Key areas include: Nha Trang - Vinh Hy, Bac Van Phong, Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula, Ninh Chu, Nui Chua - Phuoc Binh National Park, along with ecological, agricultural and renewable energy tourism destinations in Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh, Ninh Phuoc, Thuan Bac.

Khanh Hoa also focuses on expanding the market, prioritizing existing core customer groups, while exploiting growth markets such as Germany, UK, France, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia... aiming at long-term expected markets such as Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Indonesia, Philippines.
In recent years, Khanh Hoa tourism has affirmed its position as one of the leading tourist centers in the country, continuously making its mark on the international tourism map. In the first 8 months of 2025 alone, Khanh Hoa welcomed 12.8 million overnight guests, up 15.6% over the same period, of which international visitors reached 3.7 million (up 15.7%), domestic visitors reached 9 million (up 15.5%). Tourism revenue reached nearly 50,586 billion VND, up 17.8% over the same period.
In addition to the high-end resort system, many international events have been organized to contribute to enhancing the tourism brand of Khanh Hoa. Currently, Cam Ranh International Airport operates about 60 flights/day, including 35 international flights, directly connecting key markets such as Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Thailand, and Malaysia.

At the same time, implementing Resolution 09 of the Politburo on building Khanh Hoa into a centrally-run city, an international sea tourism center by 2030, Khanh Hoa province has cooperated with Gratiya Company (Dubai, UAE) to build a tourism development strategy for the period 2025 - 2030, vision 2045. The strategy focuses on 6 major orientations: diversifying tourist markets, developing products and services, enhancing brands, developing human resources, green - sustainable tourism and digital transformation. Diversifying revenue sources, developing high-end products such as resort tourism, medical tourism, MICE tourism, eco-tourism... will create a unique brand, elevating Khanh Hoa tourism.

With a clear orientation, tourism and services are expected to become a key economic pillar, helping Khanh Hoa develop rapidly and sustainably, worthy of being a leading tourist center in Southeast Asia.
