Cam Ranh International Port welcomes international cruise ship Discovery Princess with 1,200 passengers

On October 25, Cam Ranh International Port, Khanh Hoa province welcomed the international cruise ship Discovery Princess with 1,200 tourists, mainly from Bermuda, to visit famous tourist attractions in Nha Trang during the day.

This is one of the major international cruise ships arriving in Khanh Hoa in October 2025, contributing to affirming the attractiveness of Nha Trang - Cam Ranh destination to international tourists.

According to the program, right after docking at the port, tourists will be organized by Phuong Thang Service, Tourism, Trade Company Limited and Destination Asia Company Limited to visit Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Dam Market, Truong Son craft village, Cai River tour and experience rural cycling. After finishing the journey, the ship will leave the port in the afternoon of the same day to continue moving to Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, in October 2025, the whole province welcomed about 817,000 visitors, an increase of 21% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 461,000 (up 28%), domestic visitors are 356,000 (up 13%). Total revenue from tourism reached 4,157.5 billion VND, an increase of 52.9% over the same period last year.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 14.8 million visitors, an increase of 16.1% over the same period in 2024, reaching 94.3% of the yearly plan. Of which, international visitors reached more than 4.6 million, domestic visitors more than 10.2 million. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at more than 60,318 billion VND, an increase of 20.1% over the same period.

In the field of cruise tourism alone, since the beginning of the year, the province has welcomed 19 international cruises with more than 22,000 visitors. From now until the end of the year, Khanh Hoa is expected to continue welcoming 7 more cruises, with about 10,000 visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, assessed that the continuous reception of international cruise ships shows the confidence of shipping lines and tourists in the destination of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, affirming the recovery signal of cruise tourism, contributing significantly to the overall development of the province's tourism industry in the late period of 2025.
