Searching for 7 Wonders of Future Cities: New Opportunities for Vietnam

New7Wonders, the organization that once honored Ha Long Bay, officially launched a new global campaign to search for sustainable, creative and humane cities.

The New7Wonders organization has just announced the launch of the global campaign "7 Wonders of Future Cities", opening up opportunities for Vietnamese cities to once again be listed on the world map after the success of Ha Long Bay.

This campaign aims to honor cities that are pioneers in sustainable development, technology application and innovation, where people, nature and technology blend to create a better future.

Vision of a modern "Urban Wonder"

According to Bernard Weber, President and Founder of New7Wonders, the cities of the future will not only be defined by their grand architectural structures, but also by their ability to operate in harmony with nature and put people at the center. “These are cities that not only redefine how we live, but also how we coexist with nature, with technology and with each other,” said Weber.

The main criteria of the vote focus on cities that know how to turn sustainable thinking into a lifestyle and apply technological advances to improve the quality of life, creating happy energy for residents.

Global voting schedule

The search campaign for "7 Wonders of Future Cities" is organized on a global scale according to the following timelines:

• October 31, 2025: Officially launched and begins accepting nominations worldwide.
• October 31, 2026: Global public voting begins.
• October 31, 2027: Official list of "7 Wonders of Future Cities" announced.

Opportunities for Vietnamese cities

In 2011, Ha Long Bay was honored by New7Wonders as one of the "New 7 Natural Wonders of the World", a proud milestone for Vietnam. This victory is the result of the support of the international community and the solidarity of the Vietnamese people.
