According to the program, the group of artists and soldiers offered incense, flowers, and held political activities at the private residence of comrade Le Duc Tho - former member of the Politburo, former Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organizing Committee; General Mai Chi Tho - former member of the Politburo, former Minister of Home Affairs, former Secretary of the City Party Committee , Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, singer Ngo Kien Huy expressed his honor when receiving the invitation from the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department.

"My brothers and I regularly participate in sports activities, and have established the All Stars SG FC football team to play matches with comrades from PC04 to promote drug prevention. Since then, the connection between artists and the forces has been strengthened. My friends and I want to contribute to better conveying meaningful messages and activities to the community, especially young people," he said.

A memorable memory for him was meeting General Mai Chi Tho's daughter, hearing stories about his revolutionary activities, things he had never known through books or newspapers.

Afterwards, the group of artists and soldiers also visited and learned about history at the Ho Chi Minh Campaign Museum, including the exhibition "50 years of the heroic song" organized by the Political Department of Military Region 7 in coordination with the Political Department of Army Corps 4 and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.

They were able to admire nearly 500 images, documents and valuable artifacts reflecting the struggle to liberate the South, unify the country and the process of building and developing Ho Chi Minh City.

Ngo Kien Huy also has a schedule to perform at a number of meaningful programs in a series of commemorative activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
