Rolex's timeless icon
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust is considered a direct descendant of the original Oyster launched in 1926 - the world's first waterproof wristwatch, which laid the foundation for Rolex's reputation. It is also one of the five iconic product lines of the famous Swiss brand.
The version that Tang Thanh Ha uses is crafted from 18K gold, with diamonds on the bezel and dial, uses scratch-resistant sapphire glass, and has a two-way automatic winding mechanism via the Perpetual rotor.

The watch model has a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and is water-resistant to a depth of 100m, both aesthetically pleasing and demonstrating Rolex's pinnacle of craftsmanship.
According to the Swiss brand, Rolex artisans must precisely align the position, orientation and height of each diamond to achieve absolute perfection.
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch uses a three-piece Oyster bracelet, equipped with a folding Oysterclasp and an Easylink mechanism that allows the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5mm, creating maximum wearing comfort.
The entire watch is crafted from Oystersteel - an exclusive steel used in the high-tech and aviation industries, renowned for its durability and superior corrosion resistance.
Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust is Superlative Chronometer, a certification exclusive to the brand. Before leaving the factory, each watch must pass a series of rigorous tests for precision, water resistance and durability.
The watch of global faces
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual has been worn by many famous people. Actor Sean Connery wore this model in the James Bond films Dr. No and From Russia With Love .

In Hollywood, actor Mark Wahlberg owns his own Rolex collection, including the Oyster Perpetual Celebration model. Sports stars such as LeBron James and Roger Federer are also often seen wearing this classic watch.
Why businessmen, stars and athletes love it
According to Entrepreneur, Rolex watches are always favored by businessmen, athletes and celebrities because of their combination of class, precision and lasting value.
Owning a Rolex is not only a lifestyle statement, but is also considered a status symbol and an investment asset. Many Rolex models retain or increase in value over time, making the brand a “living treasure” among collectors.
The luxury watch market has traditionally been dominated by men, but women now account for nearly 35% of buyers, according to industry reports. This growth is driven by the financial independence and career success of female entrepreneurs.
For women, luxury watches are not just accessories, but also a way to mark achievements. Many choose to buy their first Rolex to celebrate important milestones in their lives.

Among the watch lines favored by women, the Lady-Datejust and Oyster Perpetual are the two most popular choices. Of these, the Oyster Perpetual attracts women who prefer a minimalist style, emphasizing intrinsic value over flashiness.
Tang Thanh Ha's choice of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust model shows her refined aesthetic taste and discreet luxurious lifestyle, true to the spirit of "elegant jade lady" that she pursues.
At the age of 38, the actress is not only a fashion icon of Vietnamese entertainment but also represents the image of a successful, confident and independent woman, in line with the spirit that Rolex aims for.
