At the contest "Send Green Future 2050", tens of thousands of green ideas from students across the country were sent to the Organizing Committee, of which, 3 excellent students from Pham Cong Binh Primary School are Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, class 4A1 (Encouragement prize), Kim Thi Kim Ngan and Kim Thi Ngoc Thuy, class 5A3 (Second prize).
After rigorous evaluation rounds, recently, 3 students of Pham Cong Binh Primary School were honored to represent 300 candidates nationwide to attend the award ceremony of the contest "Send to the Green Future 2050" in Hanoi.
The event marked the creative and dedicated achievements of the students in their journey to spread ideas and visions for a sustainable green future.
Teacher Vu Thi Phuong, Principal of Pham Cong Binh Primary School said: “The contest “Send to the Green Future 2050” is very meaningful, helping students have the opportunity to express their creative ideas, contributing to the journey of joining hands to protect the environment and create a better future.
Environmental protection is an issue of global concern, and this meaningful program is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Green Future Fund - Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup). It is an honor for the school to have many students winning prizes, including 2 second prizes, which is also the highest achievement in the province."
The “Send a Green Future 2050” contest was first held to create opportunities for students to express their creative and unique ideas through three forms: writing letters, drawing, and making videos. The works not only reflect the students’ rich perspectives and imaginations, but also represent the young generation’s responsibility towards the living environment and the future of the planet.
With the participation of tens of thousands of entries, the program not only demonstrates its appeal to students but also the sense of responsibility of the young generation towards the environment and the community.
The entries by students from Pham Cong Binh Primary School, especially the two second prizes by Kim Thi Kim Ngan and Kim Thi Ngoc Thuy, showed profound perspectives on the environment and climate change; bringing creative, innovative ideas with impressive green solutions.
Kim Thi Ngoc Thuy said: “My entry is a letter about my love for nature and my dream of a beautiful green planet. Through the contest, I understand what I need to do to protect the environment and the earth in the future...”.
The letter filled with emotions from Kim Thi Ngoc Thuy or the clear colors that Kim Thi Kim Ngan sent in her drawing when recreating a livable green city that they dream of in the future. That is the wish for a world without waste, smoke, or environmental pollution; the ocean is always blue with schools of fish swimming around... The ideas and sharing of Thuy and Ngan not only helped them win high prizes in the contest but also sent a message to students about environmental protection awareness.
According to many teachers, the “Send a Green Future 2050” contest is not only a place for students to demonstrate their abilities and passion, but also a bridge to help spread the message of sustainable green to the community. Through the contest, students will be inspired to turn green ideas into reality, contributing to the journey of joining hands to protect the environment and create a better future.
The first award ceremony of the "Send a Green Future 2050" contest honored 216 individuals and 20 groups with impressive initiatives on the environment and sustainable development. The contest is a platform to strongly spread the spirit of green living in the Vietnamese student community.
This is not only a creative playground for primary and secondary school students nationwide, but also a place to inspire the young generation to boldly speak up and act for a sustainable future.
The bold and creative ideas from the students will contribute to spreading the green message to the community. The contest will be an important stepping stone to help the students become active ambassadors, spreading green values to the community in the future.
