On October 10, the Da Nang Mobile Forest Ranger and Forest Fire Prevention Team said that they had handed over three rare wild animals to the Da Nang Forest Ranger Department for health monitoring.
Accordingly, the three wild animals are a Burmese kite (hawk, scientific name Spilornis cheela) weighing 1.5kg; a Javan pangolin (scientific name Manis javanica) weighing 1.2kg; and a white-bellied sandpiper (scientific name Anthracoceros albirostris) weighing 0.5kg.

The wild pangolin was discovered by Mr. Ngo Van Luu (living in Hoa Khuong, Hoa Vang district) lost in his garden. When he learned that this was an endangered, precious, rare wild animal that needed to be preserved, the man contacted the authorities to hand it over.
The Burmese kite was voluntarily handed over to the authorities by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Luong (residing in Hoa Tho Tay ward, Cam Le district).

A wild white-bellied sandpiper appeared in the garden of Mr. Ngo Tat Hung (resident of Khe Trung ward, Cam Le district). Mr. Hung captured it and handed it over to the authorities.
