On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the afternoon of August 12 in Hanoi , singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh officially released the MV "Swearing for Peace" - composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung.
The work is a solemn tribute to the People's Public Security force, depicting the image of soldiers in peacetime with discipline, perseverance and the spirit of "serving the people".
The project is accompanied by the People's Security College I, the Department of Political Work - Ministry of Public Security , the Mobile Police Command and the A50 Parade Training Command. Professional instructors directly guide each movement, martial arts position, and command step to be precise, ensuring professionalism and safety.

Sharing at the event, Nguyen Van Chung said that the inspiration for him to write Oath for Peace came in the blazing April sun, during the days of intensive training for the units participating in the A50 parade (celebrating the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day).
After performing and exchanging at the training ground, musician Nguyen Van Chung had the opportunity to closely observe the lessons, shooting practice, martial arts practice, and the orderly footsteps.
There, he saw the concentration, the drops of sweat and the silent pride on the young soldier’s face. Those everyday details, without fuss or background, were enough to awaken the emotions and urge the artist to take up his pen.
“I don’t write using a template, but what I see and feel… There were moments at the training ground that made me realize: A song must be a vow of peace, not just a praise,” he shared.
Remarkably, the song was completed in just 72 hours, not from a commission but from an inner urge.
Sharing about his collaboration with Duyen Quynh after the song "Writing the story of peace" , musician Nguyen Van Chung said he wanted to take this opportunity to help the female singer practice her composing skills.
According to him, Duyen Quynh is a person who has traveled a lot, experienced a lot, has deep feelings and has received formal, systematic training.
He said: "I hope the audience will see a versatile Duyen Quynh - not only a performing singer but also a composer, with a passionate heart towards her homeland and country.
Therefore, I encourage Quynh to write with her true feelings, then I will give her comments and edits to help her perfect the songs that carry her own mark, becoming Quynh's pride and personal feelings for the Fatherland."
Instead of stopping at the audio version, the crew decided to make an MV and bring the song back to the training ground - where the emotions were born.
The MV was produced as a "zero-cost" project but "priceless" in terms of sentiment and consensus, thanks to the dedicated support from the People's Security College I, the Department of Political Work - Ministry of Public Security, the Mobile Police Command and the A50 Training and Deployment Command.
The product is realistically recreated through the training ground, classroom, martial arts training ground, shooting exercises, command formations - where young people train themselves for the peace of the people. For the crew, this is a project that does not focus on budget; for the artists, it is an act of gratitude.
During 3 days of continuous filming (July 28-30), the crew worked in the peak heat, with a total of 65 officers, lecturers, and students participating (from People's Security College I, the Special Police Women's Group, and the A50 parade groups).
Singer Duyen Quynh only had 1 day of training before transforming into a female People's Public Security (CAND) student, going through command movements, martial arts and tactical operations.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Lan Phuong, lecturer of the Security Intelligence Department, who directly instructed, said: "Duyen Quynh is an artist, so at first she had difficulty using CAND martial arts equipment and movements.
However, with her intelligence, agility and support from the school, she quickly integrated and transformed into a real police officer.
For a People's Public Security teacher like me, that is the most beautiful image, reminding me of the time when I also wore military uniform, sat in school and was taught by teachers to love the Fatherland, love my compatriots, love the industry, love the profession. That image seems to depict in me the journey of maturity of many generations of students: From young students full of dreams, to those who are ready to dedicate themselves to the Party, the State and the People."

Major Lai Tien Trung, Lecturer of the Faculty of Military - Martial Arts - Sports, added: "Normally it takes a long time to complete, but with the determination of both teachers and students and the crew, we completed the task well despite filming in the hot sun."
Director Dang Xuan Truong brings a realistic, restrained, and symbolic visual language, focusing on the journey of a female police cadet through theory classes, shooting ranges, martial arts arenas, command formations, and parade squares.
Interspersed are historical symbols such as flags, monuments, and moments of remembrance. "We did not recreate the heroism with a backdrop, but let the determination appear through the eyes, steps, and drops of sweat," said the director.
On the sidelines of the press conference, when asked about the pressure compared to the success of Writing the Peace Story , musician Nguyen Van Chung expressed: "I did not compose the song with the goal of it becoming a hit, reaching a billion views or reaching the top trending music. I wrote it out of my love for the Fatherland, my homeland and the country and the police and military forces... If the song is widely responded to by the audience, it is a joy and encouragement for me, but if only a part of the audience listens to it, I am not sad."
Nguyen Van Chung said he was not pressured that the song Nguyen The Vi Binh An would reach billions of views like Viet Tiep Chuyen Hoa Binh. Because he believes that each song has its own destiny. Even widely accepted songs can stand out thanks to unexpected factors, such as meeting the right time, the right people, or being spread by a special event.
"There is no general formula, nor any guaranteed code. It all depends on the reception and affection of the audience. And I am always ready to accept everything that comes to my songs, because to me, each song is a precious brainchild, written with all the emotions of that moment," he said.
The MV "Swear for Peace" is not only a product of gratitude but also a reminder of the price of peace, promising to touch the public's emotions on a major anniversary, contributing to spreading the image of the People's Public Security soldier in peacetime.
