Nguyen Viet Gia Han won the championship in Thailand

TPO - 14-year-old golfer Nguyen Viet Gia Han brought great pride to young Vietnamese golfers when she excellently won the B Girl's Group championship at the Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships 2025.

The Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships 2025 has concluded with proud marks of Vietnamese young golfers. The Vietnamese delegation with 18 athletes competed in Thailand in a highly competitive atmosphere and gathered many international talents.

14-year-old golfer Nguyen Viet Gia Han was the most outstanding player when she excellently won the championship of Group B Girl. After 3 rounds, Gia Han scored a total score of +2 (74-72-72), creating a 4-stroke gap compared to Ploychanok Suwanjaksri (Thailand) in the runner-up position.

Thanks to the stable results of Gia Han and Than Bao Nghi, Vietnam also won 3rd place in the women's team event.

In the men's category, young athlete Nguyen Thai Son won second place in the D Boy category; while the pair Nguyen Trong Hoang and Do Duong Gia Minh took third place in the men's team category.

Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships is not only a place for young athletes to compete, but also a journey to accumulate experience, courage and motivation to conquer higher challenges.

Immediately after the tournament, many athletes will return to Vietnam to participate in stage 6 of the VGA Junior Tour 2025, taking place this weekend at Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club.
