FPT and LG bring technology to connect knowledge to students in disadvantaged areas

80 schools, 20,000 students in remote areas are connected to digital knowledge

After nearly two months of implementation, the journey "Connecting knowledge - Solid future" brought connectivity technology to 80 schools and 20,000 students across the country. The program awarded equipment sets including LG Smart AI 4K TVs,FPT Play Internet - Television systems, and thousands of meaningful learning gifts to schools.

Throughout the journey, the program has marked many schools such as Hua La Secondary School (Son La), Chieng So Ethnic Boarding Secondary School (Dien Bien), Yet Kieu Primary School (Hai Phong), Binh Duong Kindergarten (Quang Ngai), My Luong Town A Primary School (An Giang)... where the Internet and technology devices are opening the door to digital knowledge for thousands of teachers and students in remote areas.

At each school, FPT has installed modern Internet infrastructure based on Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7 and XGS-PON with speeds up to 10Gbps, helping teachers and students easily access learning resources, participate in online classes and explore the world through visual lectures. In areas that once lacked learning conditions such as Dien Bien, Son La or Lam Dong, technology has now become a bridge to help students learn English through videos, learn new knowledge and nurture their aspirations to reach further.

Not only does the program bring technology to schools in remote areas, it also motivates teachers and students there. At Dinh Trang Hoa II Primary and Secondary School (Lam Dong province), one of the schools with many difficulties in terms of facilities, Mr. Le Manh Thuong - Principal of the school shared: " The facilities, especially information technology equipment at the school, are still limited and do not meet the requirements of teaching according to the new program. Thanks to the sponsorship of FPT and LG, our teachers and students have more motivation to improve the quality of teaching and learning ."

Dinh Minh Tuan, a 7A2 student at Dinh Trang Hoa II Primary and Secondary School, excitedly said: “ With smart TV and the Internet, we can learn English and IT like our friends in the city. Thanks to that, I can study better and get closer to my dream of passing the university entrance exam .”

Launched in September 2025, “Connecting Knowledge – Building a Strong Future” is a testament to FPT and LG’s long-term commitment to narrowing the digital education gap between regions. The two companies not only donate equipment, but also jointly create a safe, modern and sustainable learning environment.
