(HG) - On the afternoon of March 11, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of relevant departments and branches had a working session with Mr. Kakuta Tomomi, CEO of Erex Biomass Power Group, Japan and members of the delegation on the progress of the Hau Giang Biomass Power Plant project.

Hau Giang Biomass Power Plant Project has a capacity of 2x10MW, built in Thuan An ward, Long My town, with a land use scale of over 10 hectares. The plant uses traditional steam condensing turbine technology, using biomass fuel, which is carbon neutral and environmentally friendly.
Hau Giang provincial leaders pledged to stand side by side with Erex Biomass Power Group, Japan when operating in the province.
At the meeting, Mr. Kakuta Tomomi, CEO of Erex Biomass Power Corporation, Japan, said that Hau Giang Biomass Power Plant will apply advanced technologies to the plant model. The plant in Hau Giang is expected to use rice husks as input material to generate electricity. The Group wishes to work with relevant local departments and branches to find new sources of biomass fuel for the plant.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was very impressed with the development of the Erex Biomass Power Group, Japan. At the same time, the Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the significance of the biomass power plant that the group is building in the province. When put into operation, the plant will help reduce environmental pollution, contribute to creating jobs for workers in the province, provide electricity for more than 90,000 households using electricity, and contribute to the local budget... The leaders and authorities of the province hope that this project will operate on schedule, bringing efficiency to investors and Hau Giang province.
