Making a splash when officially launching the men's fashion brand Mocheri in early 2020, up to now, the "brainchild" of designer Nguyen Lan Anh has become a brand chosen by many gentlemen.

As a steadfast follower of the green fashion trend, she marked her position by continuously launching new collections leading the Eco fashion trend.

This trend is also used by the Yen Bai -born designer for his newly launched collection. All 45 designs use bamboo fabric to create coolness, absorbency, UV protection and environmental friendliness, meeting the criteria of ecological fashion.

Sharing about the name of the collection, designer Nguyen Lan Anh said that this is the abbreviation of the land of Mu Cang Chai - the origin and also the main inspiration for the newly launched designs: "I was born and raised in Yen Bai, a place famous for many places but perhaps the most beautiful is the terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai. The majestic natural scenery of the mountainous region along with the enthusiastic and meticulous work of the H'Mong women helped me form the idea for this collection".

The special and elaborate feature of "Mocheri in Mucacha" is the designs with terraced field motifs, painted with beeswax on fabric.

"To create these fabrics, the Hmong women used beeswax painting techniques. They used a small bamboo stick about 7cm long, combined with a copper pen tip, and painted on the fabric. When painting, they sat by the fire, dipped the pen into a hot pan of beeswax placed on hot coals, and used their hands to draw straight lines on the fabric, keeping the wax flowing evenly and without streaks. The process may sound simple, but to create a complete piece of fabric, they had to spend a lot of time, effort, and thought," said designer Nguyen Lan Anh.

Previously, many people thought that beeswax-painted, hand-embroidered, and stone-encrusted motifs were not suitable for gentlemen. However, "Mocheri in Mucacha" has made a spectacular "comeback" when it received countless compliments thanks to its creativity, practical application, and spreading a green lifestyle. 45 designs are 45 different colors that help gentlemen use the outfit in all events, from going to work, going out to attending parties. The unique patterns painted, hand-embroidered, and stone-encrusted will be the highlight, helping them express sophistication without being less masculine.

Designer Nguyen Lan Anh also hopes that "Mocheri in Mucacha" will score points with fashion-loving audiences, thereby conveying the message of green living and promoting the beauty of the homeland and country to friends around the world.
